1.            A person who habitually doubts, questions, or suspends judgment upon matters generally accepted.

2.            A person who doubts religious doctrines.

Global warming skeptic Fred Singer stated that "some good experts believe" that atmospheric CO2 concentration will not double since economies are becoming less reliant on carbon.
