1. A carousal; any noisy merrymaking.

2. A large gathering, as of a political party or the teams of a sporting league, often including a program of speeches and entertainment

The most outstanding difference would be that the first jamboree was held indoors at Olympia in the heart of London.

Jocose (joh-kohs) (Adjective)

1. Joking or playful; humorous

Ariel's jocose manner often led people to say she should become a stand-up comedian
