Internecine (in-ter-nee-seen) (adjective): relating to internal conflict or struggle as within a nation or organization, characterized by bloodshed

 

The internecine feud between the two countries had endured for several generations.              

 Filigree ( fil-i-gree) (noun): a delicate, intricate and fanciful ornamentation

 

He was the best goldsmith in town and had a team of jewellery designers who were experts at filigree work.
